The Texas A&M recruiting class of 2022 is already looking like one of the best classes in the country as head coach Jimbo Fisher has locked up commitments from several prized recruits. On Sunday, the news got even better for the Aggies. Conner Weigman, a 5-star quarterback commitment from Cypress, Texas, will graduate high school early and begin taking classes at A&M starting in January 2022.

The news was first reported by Ryan Brauninger of TexAgs.com. Brauninger also noted that Weigman, who is a standout on the baseball field as well, could suit up for the Diamond Aggies this spring.

“Texas A&M QB commit Conner Weigman will graduate early and enroll in January,” tweeted Brauninger on Sunday afternoon. “This move means he will forgo the MLB Draft and also allows him to potentially compete for the Aggie baseball team this spring.”
