If Weigman follows through on transferring, he would leave Texas A&M after 3 seasons with the program. He played in 15 games from 2022-24.
Weigman has dealt with the injury bug multiple times in his career. He was limited to 4 games in 2023 before suffering a season-ending injury that resulted in him taking a redshirt.
This season, Weigman was sidelined early in the year due to injury, and Marcel Reed stepped into the starting role. Later in the season, Reed took over the starting job after coming off the bench to lead the Aggies to victory over LSU.
For his career, Weigman is 219-of-365 passing (60% complete) for 2,694 yards, 19 touchdowns and 7 interceptions, adding 67 rushes for 261 yards and 2 scores. As a Class of 2022 recruit, Weigman was rated 5-stars, the No. 2 quarterback and No. 22 prospect overall on the 247Sports Composite.
In his career, Weigman has played 15 games, thrown for 2,694 yards and 19 touchdowns. “I’d give anything to go win something in college football. I have so much more to give in this game and am excited for what’s next.”
