Fans, media blast Jimbo Fisher for ‘ironic’ comment on conference realignment

Jimbo Fisher made a bit of an interesting comment on the state of college football during these times of conference realignment.
Several teams from the Pac-12 jumped ship this past week. Washington and Oregon are now heading to the Big Ten with Arizona, Arizona State and Utah hopping to the Big 12. All 5 will start play with their respective conferences in 2024.
Fisher, like every other coach in America, was asked about his thoughts on realignment Sunday morning. His answer, as some online labeled it, was very ironic. Check it out below:

You can see where the irony is coming from. Many were bashing the Texas A&M head coach, who was extended to a deal worth $95 million through 2031 last season despite his record across the past 2 seasons sitting at 13-11.
