When former Texas A&M QB Kyle Allen decided he was going to transfer, his name was immediately linked to any non-SEC program in need of serious quarterback help.

The sophomore has taken his time in making a decision on a future destination, but he did give 247Sports a hint at which teams he has been in contact with most since making his decision to leave Aggieland.

“Colorado State, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Houston are the four I talk to the most,” Allen said. “I don’t want to call them my top four, but I’m going to look harder at the schools talking to me the most.”

While there are certainly hard feelings on both sides following the breakup, 247Sports’ report did include a quote from Allen about his feelings for Texas A&M.

“I hated leaving Texas A&M, I really did. It was such a great university and so many of my best friends are still there. I loved being there and hated to leave. But I look forward to the next chapter wherever that is.”

Allen will have to sit out a season if he goes to a FBS school, but should have two years of eligibility remaining.
