There’s plenty of blame to go around for Texas A&M’s struggles this season.

But the Aggies’ paltry offense has to rank near the top of the list.

Yes, Jimbo Fisher’s team has had injury issues to deal with in 2022, most notably at quarterback. But it has been just anemic on the offensive side of the ball all season.

And that was the case in Saturday’s 13-10 loss at Auburn, as the Aggies could manage only 215 total yards against the Tigers.

Fisher was asked about the offensive performance after the game and said that the issues were with execution and not scheme.

“The offense we run is still the same – similar on all schemes across the board,” Fisher said, per AL.com. “We have to call it better and coach it better. Verticals are verticals. Smashes are smashes. We have to do a better job of it. We will evaluate everything.”

The Aggies dropped to 3-7 with Saturday’s loss and have now dropped 6 consecutive games.

They will look to get back into the win column next Saturday with a home game against UMass.
