Jimbo Fisher knows the record against Auburn at Kyle Field, and how Texas A&M has played well recently on The Plains.

The Aggies have lost 4 straight against the Tigers at Kyle Field, and are 4-1 at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

“People have made that aware to me,” Fisher said. “… That happens at times. Hopefully, that’ll break this week. You’re gonna have to play great. Teams in this league get used to playing on the road because of the number of hostile environments.”

It’s the only SEC game this week between ranked teams, and will go a long way toward settling the SEC West standings.

Fisher applauded the Auburn defense, especially in the red zone.

“They make adjustments during the game,” Fisher said. “They’ve always done a great job on defense. They’re playing really good in the red zone. I think last week, Ole Miss was in there 4 different times and never got a point. … Auburn always competes very hard.”
