Jimbo Fisher reacts to Texas A&M's latest loss: 'Came up 1 play short'
Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies dropped their fourth straight game on Saturday night, 31-28 to Ole Miss.
Fisher elected to start freshman Conner Weigman for the first time this season, and the Aggies started strong on offense, but couldn’t sustain it as Ole Miss churned out 390 rushing yards.
Fisher also said Weigman would be the starting quarterback from here on out, and added, “Conner loves ball … He moved the football … Very happy with him… I love coaching him.”
Here’s some of what Fisher told the media after the game:
Jimbo Fisher on if he should've put Weigman in earlier this season: "You can ruin a guy a lot quicker than you can make a guy."
