When you talk about SEC quarterbacks, guys like Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa and Georgia’s Jake Fromm dominate the conversation. Then, you get into guys like Florida’s Feleipe Franks, LSU’s Joe Burrow and Mizzou’s Kelly Bryant.

Over at Texas A&M, Kellen Mond is flying a bit under the radar, but he’ll have a big chance to prove himself on a national scale this fall.

At SEC Media Days on Tuesday, Mond said he believes he’s the best quarterback in the entire conference:

“In my opinion, I’m the best one,” he says. “That’s not just because I’m a confident person, but I actually believe that. I feel like my teammates believe in me, too. Coach Fisher does, too.”

Mond threw for 3,107 yards, 24 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 2018. He also ran for 474 yards and seven scores.
