On the heels of Texas A&M’s loss to Auburn Saturday, people are really starting to doubt Kevin Sumlin makes it another season in College Station.

With the Florida and Ole Miss jobs already open, Texas A&M could be another one in the mix, too. Along with those three, Tennessee will likely be open, and Arkansas could certainly come open, too.

Talk about crazy season.

On Sunday morning, well-connected coaching site FootballScoop reported that “change is coming” at Texas A&M, but it also added that Kevin Sumlin likely won’t be before the end of the season.

With yesterday’s 42-27 loss vs Auburn, Texas A&M dropped to 5-4 on the season. A&M now hasn’t beaten an SEC West opponent at home in 763 days. Change is coming; but source tells FootballScoop not to look for A&M to make a move before the end of the season unless something unforeseen were to occur. A&M finishes with New Mexico, then at Ole Miss and at LSU.

The Aggies will likely make a bowl game with a win over New Mexico, but games against Ole Miss and LSU will certainly be toss-ups.

It’s been an up-and-down year for the Aggies. It started off terrible against UCLA after blowing a massive lead, but things seemed to improve as the Aggies reeled off four wins and played Alabama tough. However, after two straight losses to Mississippi State and Auburn, it has put Sumlin square on the hot seat.
