SEC baseball is back in all its glory with teams in the second weekend of action for the 2024 season. On Saturday, one game even experienced a game delay for a weird reason.

According to reports from College Station, Texas A&M’s game against Wagner was delayed in the 6th inning as one of Wagner’s fielders was locked in a bathroom. That’s not the kind of delay you see every day, but it goes to show when someone’s got to go, they really have to go!

Fortunately, the situation was eventually resolved, and the PA announcer in Blue Bell Park opted to have a bit of fun with the incident.

The delay did not disrupt the Aggies. Texas A&M improved to 6-0 on the young season with a 2-0 shutout of Wagner. Justin Lamkin started and combined with Evan Aschenbeck to record a shutout with 12 strikeouts.

Offensively, Gavin Grahovac and Jace LaViolette scored a pair of first-inning runs while Hayden Schott delivered 3 hits. The sides will play a Sunday afternoon finale at 1 pm.
