Texas A&M picked up a commitment from rangy DE Tyree Wilson Monday night, and he became the third commitment in four days.

The New London, Texas, native is listed at 6-foot-5, 221 pounds and is rated a 3-star prospect. He’s ranked as the country’s No. 74 overall weak-side DE and the state of Texas’ No. 211 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Wilson boasted offers from Mississippi State, Oklahoma State and TCU, among others, but pulled the trigger for the Aggies after visiting the Aggie BBQ on Sunday.

“It felt like home,” Wilson told 247Sports. “It was the second time I’d been down there this month and I just love it. It really does feel like home.”

With his frame and athleticism alone, Wilson could blow into a big-time defensive end, and there’s no doubt he’ll add weight once he hits campus. However, he’ll get a chance to play some linebacker and end for Kevin Sumlin’s defense, and he’ll likely have to take some time to develop.

In Wilson, the Aggies picked up their 13th commitment for the class of 2018 and currently have the 10th overall recruiting class in the country.
