Texas A&M has received a verbal commitment from Converse (Texas) Judson safety Myles Davis.

The 6-foot-2, 199-pound Davis revealed his decision on Wednesday, picking the Aggies over Texas. He also took official visits to TCU, USC, and UTSA during his recruitment. But the Aggies got the last word — with a June 23 official — and closed on the hard-hitting defensive back.

Davis runs track for Judson as well, posting an 11.31 time in the 100m and a 22.81 time in the 200m as a sophomore. He also ran the first leg of Judson’s 4×200 relay, which qualified for state and finished fifth in Texas’ 6A classification. On the gridiron, he was credited with 32 tackles, 8 pass breakups, and 3 interceptions as a junior.

In the industry-generated 247 Composite, Davis is a 4-star recruit and ranked as the No. 35 safety in the 2024 class. He sits at No. 346 overall in the national player rankings. His pledge gives the Aggies their 17th known commitment thus far and their second safety prospect.
