Le’Veon Moss helped Texas A&M upgrade an already strong recruiting class when the Louisiana running back announced his pledge to the Aggies.

The Aggies now have the No. 3-ranked class in the SEC, and the No. 5 class in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite. Moss, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana native (Istrouma) is the No. 5 player in the state of Louisiana, and the No. 6 running back in the country. He has a reported 17 offers, and chose A&M over LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss and TCU.

A one-time Alabama pledge, Moss made a pair of visits to Aggieland this summer including for an official visit on June 18. He returned just over a month later for the A&M recruiting barbecue before reopening his recruitment in mid-August, GigEm247 reported.

Moss, at No. 72, is now the eighth top-100 prospect to commit to the Aggies, alongside Walter Nolen, Conner Weigman, Bryce Anderson, Deyon Bouie , Malick Sylla, PJ Williams and Chris Marshall.
