Texas A&M has added its first receiving weapon for the 2016 class after three-star wide pass-catcher Kendrick Rogers verbally committed on Monday. He is the Aggies’ 11th commitment in this year’s cycle, the nation’s 14th-best class.

“The coaches have really wanted me to get to camp,” Rogers told 247Sports on Sunday after being offered at Texas A&M’s camp. “I didn’t think I did anything special but I guess they liked me (laughing). I’m thinking about committing soon. I plan on talking with my mom and my family first. It will probably be tomorrow.”

Rogers is a 6-foot-4, 185-pound three-star prospect who has offers from Memphis, Houston and SMU.
