It’s been almost a week since Tennessee’s 52-49 win over Alabama and all those involved with Rocky Top are still on a natural high.

Tennessee’s AD Danny White was on SEC This Morning and was asked about how he would pay the school’s $100,000 fine for rushing the field. The hosts suggested direct deposit or maybe hitting up Peyton Manning for an additional donation.

But White offered quite a flex in response.

“I’m going to have to ask our business office on that one. I might give the Commissioner my AmEx so I get some SkyMiles out of this,” White said.

In case you’re curious about how many SkyMiles one could get on a $100K charge, here’s a little information.

According to The Points Guy website there are quite a few possibilities for determining exactly how many SkyMiles that White would get on a $100,000 charge with a Detla SkyMiles Reserve American Express card. The card offers one mile per dollar, but that’s not taking into consideration whatever bonus miles White could get based on how long he’s had the card. So at minimum it’s 100,000 miles, but likely a few more than that.

Either way it should be more than enough miles to get him and a few of his closest friends to the College Football Playoff national championship game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California if he would need to go.
