Dee Williams comments on possibility of seeing offensive snaps after big game vs. Aggies
Dee Williams has become a fan favorite at Tennessee as he continues to be a constant threat as the main return man.
Williams has racked up more than 150 yards on punt returns this season, and on Saturday he took one to the house against Texas A&M. His touchdown ended up being huge as Tennessee snuck past Texas A&M on a slow offensive night.
Williams obviously has the speed, so should he get reps for the offense? He’s made his case to Josh Heupel.
Williams said after the game that he has lobbied to be apart of the offense, and he thinks his time is coming soon to line up for the Vols.

And Williams’ teammates support it. Running back Jalen Wright said after the game that Williams is “on the offensive side of the ball now.”
After a slow offensive night on Saturday, perhaps Williams could be the spark that the Vols’ need.
