Edwin Spillman has revealed what his commitment plans are. The news was announced on social media on Thursday.

Spillman is a 4-star LB from the 2024 class. He is also the No. 28 LB and No. 8 prospect from his home state of Tennessee, per the 247Sports Composite. The two main schools competing for Spillman’s signature are Ohio State and Tennessee.

Spillman announced that he will be making his commitment on Friday at 2:30 p.m. E.T.

The linebacker attends Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. He has already visited with the Buckeyes and Volunteers. Spillman took a visit to Columbus on Jun. 9 and Knoxville on Jun. 16.

The Volunteers have just one linebacker committed via the 2024 class in 3-star commit Jordan Burns.

Ohio State has two other linebackers committed to it from the 2024 class. Garrett Stover and Payton Pierce are both 4-star commits at the position.

Tennessee has been red hot on the recruiting trail when it comes to the class of 2024. The Vols secured the commitment of 5-star WR Mark Matthews on Wednesday.

Can the Vols keep Spillman in the Volunteer state? It looks like Volunteer fans will have until Friday afternoon to find out.
