“ESPN College Gameday” will broadcast live from Knoxville hours before Tennessee’s game against Florida in Week 4.

You’d think this would get the Volunteer faithful excited. Instead, many fans took to the college football subreddit to express their pessimism.

In fairness, the Vols have been one of the most underwhelming 3-0 teams in college football. Tennessee struggled against Appalachian State in Week 1 and Ohio in Week 3, both games in which they were heavily favored. The Vols are also dealing with injuries to several key starters including Cam Sutton, Jalen Reeves-Maybin and Darrin Kirkland Jr.

Like Tennessee, the Gators also have injury concerns after starting quarterback Luke Del Rio was forced to leave Saturday’s game following a low hit to his leg on a roughing the passer call. Florida fans weren’t any more optimistic than their SEC East rivals about their team being featured on Gameday.
