Tennessee’s roll on the recruiting trail continues as the Volunteers just picked up another commitment, this time from four-star Georgia receiver Julian Nixon.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Roswell, Ga., native is listed as a four-star prospect, the No. 42 receiver and the No. 238 overall prospect in the nation in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Nixon just became the third Tennessee commit in as many days following pledges from five-star defender Dylan Brooks on Sunday and four-star defensive back Kamar Wilcoxson on Monday.

Following this news, Tennessee now holds commitments from 13 prospects in the 2021 recruiting cycle and moves into the top 5 of the class rankings for the current recruiting cycle. Only Florida has recruiting class ranked higher than Tennessee in the SEC, at this time.

The Volunteers also now hold pledges from three receivers in the class with Nixon joining the class, which includes two four-star pass catchers.
