Kirk Herbstreit recently named his top 10 teams from Week 7 and it’s no surprise that No. 3 Tennessee (6-0, 3-0) is a part of the list.

Tennessee rocked the college football world with their 52-49 upset against visiting Alabama (6-1, 3-1), who dropped to No. 6 with the loss. The ESPN analyst also selected Hendon Hooker and Jalin Hyatt as some of his top performers from Week 7.

This was Tennessee’s first victory against Alabama in 15 years. Chase McGrath converted the game-winning 40-yard field goal as time expired. The fans immediately swarmed Neyland Stadium in delirious celebration for the accomplishment.

When it was all said and done, Alabama gained two more total yards, had three more first downs and one less turnover than Tennessee, but the scoreboard was all that mattered.

“This is college football at its absolute best,” Tennessee coach Josh Heupel said via The AP. “We were the best team on the field tonight. That’s all we can control.”

Hooker completed 21 of his 30 passes for 385 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. All five of Hooker’s touchdowns went to Hyatt. During Hyatt’s legendary performance, he collected six receptions for 207 yards with five touchdowns, with a long of 78 yards.

Next up for Tennessee is a home matchup against UT Martin on Saturday (12 p.m. ET/SEC Network).
