It’s hard to argue that there is a bigger college football game taking place this weekend than the matchup between Alabama and Tennessee.

Former Vols quarterback Peyton Manning is looking forward to watching this one play out and says that it “should be rocking in Knoxville” this weekend. And with a very real chance to take down one of the most dominant teams in recent history, we would expect nothing else in Neyland Stadium.

“To beat a team like Alabama, everybody’s got to step up. You’re gonna need a few breaks to go your way,” Manning said.

“It’s been a while since the University of Tennessee has had a game of this magnitude. ESPN College GameDay is going to be there… should be rocking.”

The two teams are set to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday in Knoxville. It will be interesting to watch how things play out as both teams are ranked in the Top-10. The outcome of this one will say a lot about not just where Tennessee stands against a very solid measuring stick, but also about what era we are now in during what looks like a big shakeup in college football.
