While Butch Jones may be gone, his presence still looms large over Neyland Stadium thanks to his photo still being in place overlooking the Tennessee River.

All Tennessee fans have the same question regarding the picture on the Neyland Stadium jumbotron: When will it be taken down?

UT Athletic Director Phillip Fulmer recently gave fans an update: The good news is the process to remove it is underway. The bad news? Don’t expect it to come down immediately.

“That’s not an easy process. There’s mechanical things involved to get that down, it’s not like taking down a picture off the wall or graphic,” Fulmer said. “We are working thru that. It is important to us, it’s important to reflect what we are doing but it will be done in due time.”
