Midway through last season, the Tennessee Volunteers made a switch at the quarterback position, replacing starter Quinten Dormady with redshirt freshman Jarrett Guarantano.

Now, Guarantano has the position locked down, which has led to questions about Dormady’s future in Knoxville.

On Monday evening, Dormady announced that he’d be transferring from Tennessee, as you can see in the tweet below:

Dormady did not say where he plans to transfer, so he may not know for sure where he wants to play next.

In 2017, Dormady threw for 925 yards, six touchdowns and six interceptions. The Vols struggled mightily, but that wasn’t all on Dormady by any means.

It’ll be interesting to see where the former Vol ends up to finish his college career.
