Report: Jeremy Pruitt reaches decision on starting QB vs. Florida
The Tennessee Volunteers have cratered after a 2-0 start, finding themselves sporting a 2-5 record heading into Saturday afternoon’s game.
That game happens to be against No. 6 Florida, so another loss could be coming for fans on Rocky Top.
However, according to a report from AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, there is some hope for the Vols’ future, as they’re expected start freshman QB Harrison Bailey over Jarrett Guarantano:
Sources: Tennessee will start freshman Harrison Bailey at QB vs. Florida today.
Jeremy Pruitt acknowledged earlier in the week that Bailey would at the very least get playing time in the game but maintained that he hadn't made a final decision on a starter. It will be Bailey.

Bailey has been hyped all season, but has yet to see significant playing time. It seems that will change on Saturday.
How much Pruitt and the coaching staff use Bailey remains to be seen, but it seems he’ll be on the field to start against the Gators.
