Tennessee fans are partying tonight in Knoxville after Tennessee upset Alabama 52-49 on a last-second field goal Saturday.

The game of the year absolutely lived up to the hype for once, too.

Following the win, Vols fans rushed the field, which will bring a fine by the SEC. The SEC changed its fine policy in 2015, to make it $50,000 for the first violation, up to $100,000 for the second and $250,000 for each after that.

It was the first time since 1998 that Tennessee rushed the field. The last time came in a win over Florida.

Tennessee fans tore down the goalposts Saturday night and carried them outside of Neyland Stadium.

When Tennessee defeated Florida in 1998, fans carried the goal posts all the way to the Tennessee River. That’s exactly where it ended up Saturday night, too.
