Tennessee is in the mix to land one of the nation’s best running backs in the class of 2024.

4-star running back Jordan Marshall named the Vols in his top 4 programs on Thursday afternoon. He’s also still considering Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio State.

Here’s his announcement:

Marshall is an Ohio native, which may help explain the heavy Big Ten influence on his top 4. He attends Archbishop Moeller in Cincinnati.

However, he’s one of the most talented running backs in the country for the 2024 cycle. He currently ranks as the No. 105 overall player and the No. 8 running back in the class, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Marshall was recently in Knoxville for Tennessee’s junior day. He also visited campus on 2 other occasions in 2022, per 247Sports. The Vols initially offered him a scholarship back in June of 2012.

Tennessee already has 3 commitments from prospects in the class of 2024, including 2 from blue-chip talents. The group currently ranks No. 16 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
