Javontez Spraggins has this thing he does for Tennessee following home wins.

The Vols’ offensive lineman has been parading around a stuffed animal of the mascot for whichever team Tennessee beats. He’s done it against Florida in the past and he attempted to do it again following the Vols’ 41-20 win over South Carolina Saturday night.

But things didn’t quite go as planned this time around. Spraggins had his stuffed Gamecock stolen by a South Carolina player on the field following the game:

Spraggins confirmed he never got his Gamecock back following the “skirmish.”

College football, man.

For what it’s worth, Spraggins and Tennessee earned their ability to talk some last night. The Vols’ offensive line bullied South Carolina’s defensive front, opening the way for the RB trio of Jaylen Wright, Dylan Sampson and Jabari Small to rush for 238 rushing yards on the evening.

Tennessee is on a bye in Week 6 and will face off against Texas A&M in Knoxville the following week.
