Tennessee or Duke? ESPN analyst explains why Vols are the better team

Duke may have the name recognition and history, along with arguably the nation’s most talented prospect in Zion Williamson, but Tennessee is the team that’s been ranked No. 1 in the nation for three weeks now, not the Blue Devils.

While many outside of the SEC footprint may be waiting for Tennessee to drop off, many college basketball experts like ESPN’s Sean Farnham seem to believe that’s unlikely to happen. Farnham was asked if Duke or Tennessee was the better team during his Tuesday appearance on ESPN morning show “Get Up!”

“Tennessee is the better team and there’s a number of metrics you can look at that help you understand just how good this Tennessee basketball team is,” Farnham answered.

The ESPN college basketball analyst went on to state his case in the clip below.

No. 1 Tennessee looks to remain unbeaten Tuesday night as the Vols are scheduled to host Missouri in Thompson-Boling Arena.
