Tennessee pass rusher Darrell Taylor reveals he played through significant injury for all of 2019 season
Darrell Taylor developed into one of the top pass rushers in the SEC in the past 2 seasons, recording 8 sacks in 2018 and 8.5 sacks in 2019.
However, despite playing in all 13 games for the Vols in 2019, it appears Taylor as battling a painful injury.
As you can see below, Taylor took to Instagram to show off progress from a surgery he had a week and a half ago. In the caption, he said he played all 13 games this year with a stress fracture in his shin:
As Taylor recovers and prepares for the NFL Combine and NFL Draft, it’ll be interesting to see how much he can raise his draft stock.
NFL teams won’t be able to question his toughness after Monday’s news, though, that’s for sure.
