Tennessee has seen a busy day on Wednesday in wide receivers entering the transfer portal.

Jimmy Calloway, who was in his third season with the Vols, announced plans to enter the transfer portal, and he noted that he has 3 years of eligibility remaining.

“I want to thank everyone involved for the opportunity to play the sport I love at the University of Tennessee. After much consideration I have decided to enter the transfer portal with 3yrs of eligibility,” he wrote on social media.

Calloway missed just 3 games this season, but only caught 2 passes for 20 yards, all against Akron. Last season, he had 5 receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown. He appeared in just 3 games last season and 8 in 2020 as a wide receiver and on special teams.

Earlier Wednesday, junior wide receiver Jimmy Holiday also announced plans to enter the portal.
