Georgia sure had an interesting way to show it has been paying attention to all the success Jeremy Pruitt’s Tennessee program has had this week on the recruiting trail.

If you missed it, Tennessee has skyrocketed up the recruiting rankings this week as the Vols now have the SEC’s highest-ranked 2021 recruiting class following a flurry of elite commitments.

The first domino fell on Sunday when five-star defender Dylan Brooks commit to Tennessee, which was followed by four-star cornerback Kamar Wilcoxson on Monday, four-star receiver Julian Nixon came next on Tuesday, then on Thursday, the Vols landed commitments from the nation’s No. 1 rated junior college running back Tiyon Evans and five-star linebacker Terrence Lewis.

All those “fireworks” added to Tennessee’s current recruiting class elevated the Vols’ class to No. 3 nationally and No. 1 in the SEC heading into May.

Following all the news on the recruiting trail, Georgia posted a very interesting video. Specifically mentioning “all the FIREWORKS” on display, Georgia posted a video featuring all the Bulldog highlights from the team’s 43-14 win over Tennessee in Neyland Stadium last season.

Coincidence?

That’s very unlikely. This just goes to show why SEC football is the best. Even in the offseason, the pettiness of these programs is incredible and goes to show why college football really does mean more in the South.
