When looking at this weekend’s matchup between the Florida Gators and the Tennessee Volunteers, history is certainly on the side of those residing down in ‘The Swamp.’

Tennessee is 6-24 in the last 30 games against the Gators — including losers of 11-straight contests. These bitter rivals have an immense distaste for one another. In this year’s episode, the No. 14 Vols are attempting to firmly secure themselves as a player not only in the division, but in the conference.

The first step in this premise would be to beat the No. 19 Gators. Both teams are battling injury concerns. Florida will be without starting signal-caller Luke Del Rio — whilst UT will be missing multiple starters on defense.

One Florida starter — DB Quincy Wilson — didn’t hold back on what he thinks about Saturday’s contest. Referencing ‘The Martin Lawrence’ show, Wilson used an analogy and metaphor when describing the possible outcome on Saturday.

Based upon Wilson’s candor, the Gators’ secondary is supremely confident.
