Published:

News broke on Tuesday afternoon that Tennessee redshirt freshman quarterback Jarrett Guarantano will be starting for the Volunteers against South Carolina on Saturday.

And perhaps bigger news … junior Quinten Dormady, who has been the starting QB for the Vols through the first five games of the season, is apparently “contemplating his future” at Tennessee.

Rumors circulated late Monday night and Tuesday morning that Dormady had quit the team and may be looking to transfer, however those rumors have not been totally confirmed.

Regardless, #VolTwitter is ready to explode.

There’s never a shortage of breaking news in Knoxville, and with that, Twitter has to stay on its toes. Fans and media alike seem to have mixed reactions about this latest news on the quarterback situation at UT.
