ESPN College football analyst and former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III listed his top five teams going into Week 9. And mark down RG3 as a believer in what’s happening at Rocky Top.

Tennessee is ranked No. 3 in the polls, but the Volunteers have deservedly gotten a push to be ranked No. 1 after a decisive road victory over LSU, which looks even better two games later, and a 52-49 win over Alabama two weeks ago.

Georgia is ranked third in RG3’s mind, right behind Ohio State, who walloped Iowa 54-10 last Saturday.

If the Bulldogs get past Florida in the World’s Largest Cocktail Outdoor Party this Saturday and the Volunteers handle what could be a trap game against a top-20 Kentucky team, it would set up the biggest game in the SEC East in years. The winner would almost certainly win the Division and likely have a spot reserved in the College Football Playoff.

Michigan and TCU, both undefeated, make up the rest of Griffin’s top 5.
