Vanderbilt added to its 2024 recruiting class this weekend with commitment No. 5.

The newest pledge comes from a wide receiver/tight end out of Berlin, Maryland. Brycen Coleman announced Saturday that he plans to play for Clark Lea’s program.

Out of Stephen Decatur High School, Coleman is listed as measuring 6-5 and 200 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Coleman is rated 3-stars, the No. 30 player from Maryland, No. 124 wide receiver and No. 953 prospect overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class.

Coleman was recruited to Vanderbilt by tight ends coach Justin Lustig. He chose the Commodores over scholarship offers from 10 other schools, including Boston College, East Carolina, Minnesota and Princeton.
