Hurricane Matthew is likely to cause problems all along the East Coast this weekend.

One event that will probably be affected by the storm is the South Carolina-Georgia football game scheduled to be played in Columbia on Saturday night.

According to Atlanta Journal-Constitution reporter Chip Towers, the Georgia Dome is the likely destination if the game must be moved:

“All indications are they’re not going to play this game in South Carolina, folks,” Towers said in his report. “That said, the Gamecocks desperately want to keep it there.”

The storm is currently in the Caribbean, but is expected to reach the U.S. soon. Saturday’s Florida-LSU game is also in jeopardy due to the hurricane.
