The 13th installment of our SEC Heisman Watch features one of the nation’s top wide receivers this season:

SIZZLING

  • Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama: Crimson Tide fans breathed a sigh of relief Saturday after Cooper reappeared from the Alabama training room following a nasty collision at the goal line against Western Carolina. The SEC’s top offensive player was examined and diagnosed with a knee bruise. Coach Nick Saban said the junior wideout could’ve returned to the game but was held out for precautionary measures after catching three passes for 46 yards.
  • Dak Prescott, QB, Mississippi State: Prescott regained his early-season form during a 51-0 thumping of Vanderbilt, recording four total touchdowns and completing 16-of-21 passes. He avoided crucial mistakes that have plagued the Mississippi St. offense in recent weeks and helped the Bulldogs maintain their spot in the polls.
  • Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia: The freshman’s streak of 140-yard games ended at five, but that’s only because Chubb played a couple series. He averaged 12.6 yards per carry against Charleston Southern and posted a career-best 83-yard touchdown run. Chubb has scored 10 touchdowns since taking over first-team duties in the Georgia backfield on Oct. 11.

WARM

  • Josh Robinson, RB, Mississippi State: The Bulldogs’ leading rusher hasn’t scored a touchdown on the ground since Nov. 1 but did reach the end zone on a reception against Vanderbilt. His numbers have trailed off down the stretch and is in danger of losing his first team All-SEC nod to Chubb and Auburn’s Cameron Artis-Payne.
