Georgia will play Murray State as a part of its 2018 nonconference schedule, according to Chip Towers of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The game is scheduled to take place on Sept. 15, 2018 at Sanford Stadium.

Towers reports that Murray State, which plays in the Ohio Valley Conference at the FCS level, will receive $500,000 as payment for their visit to Athens.

The contract on this agreement was reported signed last month, and the information was obtained by an open records request.

This news comes just one day after it was revealed the Bulldogs will play a game against UMass later that season.

With the yearly rivalry game with Georgia Tech slated for the end of the 2018 season, the Bulldogs now have three of four 2018 nonconference games scheduled.
