Arkansas QB Austin Allen has been in Louisiana this weekend with some of the nation’s top quarterbacks for the Manning Passing Academy.

A first-year starter for the Razorbacks, Allen is learning a lot by counseling campers alongside Eli and Peyton Manning and a host of top college quarterbacks:

“It’s mind-blowing how organized (the camp is) with the amount of campers. It’s a great camp and you see why they’ve done it for 21 years now. They do it the right way and it’s pretty special.”

Allen said he’s excited to get the 2016 season underway and that he believes the Razorbacks have a Manning-like mentality about them:

“We’re just a blue-collar team really,” he said. “We don’t skip steps in the preparation or anything like that. We get it from Coach (Bret Bielema) and we trust the process. We’re hard workers and just a bunch of guys that do their job and play until the final whistle.”

The Razorbacks start their season by hosting Louisiana Tech in Fayetteville on Sept. 3.
