Former Georgia RB Isaiah Crowell’s recent Instagram post has angered the head of Cleveland’s police union, and the Browns ball-carrier’s apology hasn’t remedied the situation.

Crowell, who was dismissed from Georgia in 2012 after one season due to a felony weapons charge that was later dropped, posted a widely circulated controversial drawing to his Instagram account graphically depicting a policeman’s throat being slit by a hooded man wearing black robes.

According to Terry Pluto of Cleveland.com, Crowell posted the image, originally shared by a political activist in response to two recent high-profile shootings by police, prior to the shooting in Dallas in which five police officers were slain. Crowell issued an apology through the Browns and the team has issued another statement saying it is taking the matter seriously.

According to Stephen Loomis, president of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association, that’s not enough. He told TMZ Sports that he will keep officers from working Browns homes games if Crowell does not apologize properly.

“I will pull Cleveland officers, sheriffs, state troopers out of FirstEnergy Stadium this season if he doesn’t make it right,” Loomis said.

The union head isn’t accepting the current apology.

“You’re a grown-ass man, and you claim you were too emotional to know it was wrong?” Loomis said. “Think we’ll accept your apology? Kiss my ass.”
