Photo: Auburn coach Gus Malzahn sports new look for LSU game
Auburn coach Gus Malzahn is known for always wearing a visor on the sideline.
He took it off only once before, to honor Steve Spurrier, the longtime Florida and South Carolina coach famous for wearing a visor, upon the Head Ball Coach’s retirement.
On Saturday evening against LSU, Malzahn will once again be visor-less:

Ironically, Spurrier picked Auburn to defeat LSU today on College GameDay because he likes Malzahn’s visor.
So, was this a shot at Spurrier or something else? Let the speculation begin:
Don't want sunburn on head? Make sure players aren't looking for visor for play calls? Rhett Lashlee calling plays today. https://t.co/QG559MAGlY

Whatever the reason, it’s strange to see Malzahn without his trademark headgear.
Auburn and LSU kick off at 5 p.m. Central time on ESPN.
