It looks like ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit is a big believer in LSU and interim coach Ed Orgeron.

The GameDay host was taking fan questions Wednesday morning on Twitter, and called the Nov. 5 showdown between SEC West rivals the toughest game remaining on the Crimson Tide’s schedule. He even thinks LSU presents a tougher matchup than the SEC East winner.

If the Crimson Tide wins, it’s sure to stay at No. 1 according to Herbstreit. He doesn’t think an “ugly” win could hurt Nick Saban’s squad, if it is even capable of winning ugly.

We’re sure that Kevin Sumlin and the rest of the Aggies coaching staff appreciates the bulletin-board material ahead of this week’s meeting between No. 1 Alabama and No. 6 Texas A&M.
