Report: Key Georgia player will miss the rest of the season with knee injury
As the Georgia Bulldogs fight for their lives in the logjam that is the SEC East, they’ll have to do so without a key special teams player.
P Marshall Long reportedly suffered a dislocated kneecap in practice this week and will miss the rest of the season, according to 247Sports.
Long, a freshman, has punted 49 times for the Bulldogs this season, averaging 38.7 yards per kick.
Third-string QB Brice Ramsey is expected to take over Long’s punting duties for the rest of the season. He has punted three times already in 2016.
