Georgia fans react to horrible first-half offensive performance in Liberty Bowl
Though Georgia’s offense came to life on its final drive of the second quarter, most of the first half was a struggle for offensive coordinator Jim Chaney’s unit.
In the first quarter, the Bulldogs put up a respectable 82 yards, but 77 of them came on one pass play. Other than that, Chaney couldn’t dial up anything even remotely successful.
That led Georgia fans to take to Twitter to express their displeasure about the team’s lackluster output, which until that final drive had been a total disappointment:
Georgia's offense looks like a middle school team

Georgia's offense is pathetic even more so considering how much time they had to prepare. #LibertyBowl #FireChaney

I'm so sick of watching Georgia's offense this year

Take away the 77 yards pass and Georgia has 26 yards of offense with 9:56 left in the second quarter

Georgia has had 3 weeks to prepare for TCU & has changed zero from what was already an inept offense. #Kirbydumb

Georgia running that Jeff Fisher pro offense. Predictable and pathetic.

Despite the struggles, the Bulldogs only trail TCU 16-14 at halftime. Check out the second half on ESPN.
