When Alabama received a delay-of-game penalty in the third quarter, Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban went full nuclear, dropping f-bombs in frustration that C Bradley Bozeman did not snap the ball.

After the game, Bozeman brushed it off. He acknowledged that there was a miscommunication.

Bozeman, who was dubbed the team’s “unsung hero” by Saban earlier in the week, was asked about the penalty in postgame, which AL.com’s Matt Zenits says the center smiled and answered.

“I got the wrong play,” Bozeman said. “The quarterback was on one play. I was on another play. It didn’t really work out like we wanted it to.”

When asked his reaction to the outburst, Bozeman gave an answer his coach would approve of.

“Just that we needed to fix it and move on to the next play,” Bozeman said.
