Recruiting for the class of 2017 just wrapped up, and after signing a class ranked No. 47 nationally and No. 13 in the SEC, Mizzou coaches are determined to step things up with the class of 2018. That started with going all out for Junior Day in Columbia this weekend.

Four-star DT Trevor Trout (No. 3 Missouri prospect), out of St. Louis’ Chaminade, tweeted about the visit to campus.

Four-star DE Ronnie Perkins, a St. Louis native and No. 4 Missouri prospect, and 4-star ATH Mario Goodrich (No. 5) were also on hand.

The Tigers have plenty of room for improvement when it comes to in-state recruiting, as Kansas City ATH Daron Davis is the only 2017 signee from Missouri.

Three-star WR Cameron Brown, a product of St. Louis’ Christian Brothers College, is ranked the No. 10 Show Me State prospect.

The efforts seem to have gone over well with at least one Missouri high school coach.
