After missing the entire 2016 season with a shoulder injury, Missouri redshirt freshman OL Darvis Holmes is reportedly leaving the team.

The 2016 4-star recruit will pursue other options, according to St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Dave Matter:

Holmes’s departure will hurt the Tigers’ offensive line depth heading into the 2017 season, but with a young group of starters returning from last year, Holmes’s role wasn’t likely to be too large, barring injury.

According to 247Sports, Holmes was the No. 14 offensive lineman in the class of 2016 and the No. 12 overall recruit from the state of Georgia. He has not announced where he will play next.
