Trey Smith, a 5-star offensive lineman from the 2017 recruiting class, is already making a great first impression with the Tennessee Volunteers.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pound freshman is a beast in the weight room, as evidenced by the below video produced by Tennessee Football:

With a new quarterback taking over for the departed Joshua Dobbs this fall, having a strong offensive line is going to be crucial for the Volunteers.

Whether Smith starts from day one remains to be seen, but if he keeps working hard in the weight room, he’ll likely get a chance to prove himself on the field.

According to the 247Sports composite, Smith was the No. 4 offensive tackle in the class of 2017 and the No. 1 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee.
