New LSU offensive coordinator Matt Canada is clearly willing to try anything to keep opposing defenses off-balance in 2017.

That includes bringing some players over from the defensive side of the ball, as speedy CB Donte Jackson did on Tuesday.

In the below video, Jackson — one of the fastest players in college football — takes a jet sweep from the quarterback, racing along the line of scrimmage before turning upfield:

Whether or not Jackson sees any action on offense this fall remains to be seen, but utilizing his speed in more ways is a good idea for LSU. Jackson is a freak athlete (as you can see below) and getting the ball in his hands makes the Tigers more dangerous:

LSU’s spring game is scheduled for Saturday, so Jackson may not have to wait too long to get his first carry.
