Ed Orgeron comments on LSU S Donte Jackson's stint on offense

LSU S Donte Jackson is one of the fastest players in college football — something new OC Matt Canada has clearly noticed.

Canada brought Jackson over to the offense on Tuesday to see what he could do as a runner on a jet sweep play.

On Thursday, head coach Ed Orgeron commented on Jackson’s appearance on offense, saying it may not be the last time we see the talented defender with the ball in his hands:

O on Donte on offense: "We'd like to use him on offense. Going to see in camp. Very few guys can go both ways. He's a guy who can." #LSU

LSU always has a ton of talented athletes, but the offense has been stale in recent years. It looks like Canada is willing to let the best players touch the ball more often, which should have Tiger fans excited to watch Saturday’s spring game.
